Electromechanical Arm Barriers

Electromechanical arm barriers are electromechanical devices designed to control vehicle entrances/exits. Barriers generally consist of barrier stell housing, electrical drive mechanism with gearbox and electronic control board. After the user gives the trigger signal to the system, the barrier mechanism moves the arm up-down and in this way, vehicle access are taken under the control. To give details about the system; There are electric motor, gearbox, electronic box inside the barrier housing. On the electric motor side, asynchronous AC motor and DC motor are generally preferred. The gearbox transmits the drive to the mechanism by reducing the output speed of the motor. The control of the barrier is also done with an electronic board. The sensors, buttons and motor trigger of the barrier are controlled by this electronic board. The safety of the barrier is provided by electronic sensors called photocells. If the pedestrian or vehicle passes under the barrier arm while the barri...

What is a manual boom barrier?

Sliding Gate Motors

Image
In our daily life, we can see sliding door motors at the entrances of almost all houses, workplaces and industrial areas. Sliding door motors are electromechanical devices that automatically drive sideways doors. The rack gear on the sliding door moves it forward and backward by the motor gear. For more information, visit Optima Engineering web site. When choosing sliding door motors, the weight of the door should be considered. The power of the motor should be selected according to the weight of the door. Sliding door motor unit generally consists of geared electric motor, control unit and rack gear set. The control unit trigger the electric motor clockwise or counter clockwise direction with the command it receives from the user. Users generally prefer safety photocell, remote control (or push button) and flashing light as accessories. The security photocell detects this movement and sends a signal to the controller when an object enters while the door is closing. The control...
