How does a Telescopic Sliding Gate work?

 

·       Telescopic Sliding Gates have a push button console which is placed to operate it.

·       Kind of Access Control Systems, card reader systems, remote control systems can be connected to operate the telescopic sliding gates.

·       Basically, the door opener unit has a gear which is turning via AC Motor. This gear transmits the movement to the rack gear as linear movement. Thus, the telescopic sliding gates slides.

·       In a nutshell, first telescopic sliding gate leaf is connected to second leaf with special steel rope mechanism. While the motor is driving first leaf of telescopic sliding gate, the first leaf pulls second leaf help of steel rope. Thus, both leaf moves together telescopically.

·       Some of telescopic sliding gate manufacturers use chain gear mechanism instead of steel rope to pull second leaf.

·       In case of power failure, it is possible to open and close it. Most of telescopic sliding gate mechanism has a clutch system to release motor from the gears. When the gears are released from motor, the gate can slide easily with manpower.
